Congrats to President Obama & First Lady Michelle Obama
For the first time I decided that I was going to vote absentee ballot. And boy am I glad I did! I heard stories of people waiting in line for over 5 hours to cast their ballot! In today's society where everyone is in a hurry to do everything it seems as if everyone was able to have PATIENCE!
In the end it was all worth IT! Congrats to President Obama!!

Men & Hair
What's it about a man and your hair? I have pretty much worn short hair my entire life! As a little girl my mom would sit us between her legs at the kitchen stove with the straightening comb on Saturday afternoons, and ohhh did I hate those afternoons! She had a way of pulling your hair if you did not sit still. Then in about 4th grade the relaxer became the newest products to take over! And everyone had to have one, including me and my sister! I never had a very course texture of hair, but my sister on the other hand had the hair from the other side of the family!
Well back to the subject "Men & Hair"!
I decided many years ago that a short haircut made my hair look thicker, it was easier for me to manage, and it really looked cute on me! When I met my husband I was wearing my hair short and he loved it! Of course it was relaxed!!! This style went on for many many years! Well as you all know, styles come and go, and hairstyles change. Well now that the Natural thing is in, I decided that I was going to jump on the bandwagon! Well I have gotten lots of compliments and I have really njoyed the low maintenance of it all. Well guess who doesn't like it? That's right my man, he thinks that I have lost my mind!!!! I have tried explaining to him why I made the change but he just doesn't understand! Don't get me wrong, he has not turned his back on me! But every chance he gets he ask me something about my hair!
You see his opinion does matter to me, and I will always take it into consideration, but sometimes gurls u just have to do something for YOU!
That's the tip for women! The tip for men is accept it that women change and we grow!! And styles come and go! Just love us for who we are, just like we love u for who u r!
